Happy 4th of July!

I have to admit, this is my favorite holiday! I love summer, BBQ’s, fireworks, ice cream, and this country that we live in! This country was founded on Christ, freedom, and hard work. History has always been one of my favorite subjects. I love knowing about people in the past and how they lived. I look forward to being in heaven one day and chatting with George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abe Lincoln, and so many other men and women that changed our country for good in so many ways.
Yesterday we went to Blueberry Daze at Bill’s Berry Farm in Grandview, Wa. There was vintage decor vendors, things to do for kids, and blueberry picking! I’ve never picked blueberries, and I must say, it wasn’t half bad! Here’s some pictures of our time there.

We didn’t pick too many  because we didn’t need too many 🙂 I will be using them as a garnish on a cake I’m making for a BBQ today…hopefully I can post pictures of it later.
We also found a couple cute things for the house at the antique boothes. It was a fun event! I’d love to go back next year! Check out their website, they will be having a fall event as well! Berry Farm website
