wiww:: cold weather essentials

Happy Thanksgiving eve! Just popping by today to share a few of my colder weather, late fall outfits! Also to say that in less than 10 days my friend Hannah and I will start up Dressember! A month long campaign to bring awareness to trafficking victims, how they are being rescued, restored, and how we can get involved, So next month, be watching for my posts about wearing dresses all December long. And if you’re interested in joining our team or donating to our team towards the Dressember campaign, please visit our team page!

Outfit number 1:

I try to wear this orange cardigan as often as I can up until Thanksgiving…after that orange just doesn’t seem appropriate anymore. I’ve had it forever, but I just can’t part with it πŸ™‚

Orange cardigan: JCP

Gray tee: gap outlet

Dark wash skinnies: gap outlet

Scarf: handmade

Necklace: boutique in Nashville

Fringe booties: Jane.com

Outfit number 2:

Have you gotten on the blanket wrap trend? Even though it can be a little heavy, I do like it! It adds a little class in an outdoorsy way…in my opinion πŸ˜‰ Also adds warmth which is definitely a bonus!

Woolrich blanket wrap: Sam’s Club

Gray Hilfiger sweater: Costco

Distressed skinnies: gap outlet

Frye Riding boots: Zulily

Necklace: Evereve

Outfit number 3:

Church…and I’m a fan the burgundy color trend this fall/winter. This is the only bell sleeve top I’ve found that I’ve liked. The fabric is thick and structured. I also included a picture of the jacket I wore with this outfit…a khaki trench is always a great staple. And don’t be jealous of that mountain of laundry on my bed behind me.

Bell sleeve top: Jane.com

Black skinnies: gap outlet

Booties: Bass outlet

Necklace: Old Navy

Jacket: Jane.com

Outfit 4:

This puffer vest is one of my favorite cold weather staples. Actually I’m a fan of most vests really…they are a mom’s best friend…especially when wearing leggings. Vests have the pockets a mom needs for her phone, keys, Kleenex, Costco card, the odd toy, and maybe a snack or two…for the kids obviously πŸ˜‰

Scarf: Old Navy

Green Eddie Bauer long sleeve tee: Sam’s Club

Black J. Crew vest: thredUP

Distressed skinnies: gap outlet

Frye riding boots: zulily

That’s all I’ve got for today! Thanks for stopping by! We had family pictures taken last week…first legit family pics since our older set was 3 years old. I can’t wait to show them to you and tell you about our wonderful friend who took our pics! Stay tuned πŸ™‚

What is your favorite cold weather accessory? And how will you be spending Thanksgiving? We are going to a friends house and you better believe I’ll be breaking out the christmas decor this weekend too!

Happy Thanksgiving friends!

I love that bell sleeve top. I haven’t been able to fall in love with vests, but you are rocking it!
