WIWW (What.I.Wore.Wednesday) First ever

So I realize my blog is becoming rather a hodge podge of topics…home decor/projects, preschool activities, trailer re-do, family updates, and the occasional adoption update. I may scale back on the preschool activity posts. I don’t feel what we do is very original and truthfully I’m not super passionate about it. Maybe I’ll just recap our favorite activities once or twice a month…we shall see 🙂

But one thing I am passionate about is clothes! Especially this year because I’m trying use what I’ve got in my closet already rather then purchasing new items frequently. I think blogging about my outfits will help me to become better about piecing together what I’ve got in new and fun ways. I also love to pin ideas from other gals out there in the wide-world of Pinterest, I want to “give back” in a way 😉 Now I don’t claim to be any kind of stylist or really even know what I’m doing…but I love putting outfits together, so I’ll give this a whirl 🙂

I’m linking up to The Pleated Poppy’s wiww link party…please go visit it, so many fabulous bloggers link up with their amazing fashion tips!

My pictures are by no means good quality and I realize I need a better mirror for this…so keep those factors in mind. And of course my first outfit I took a picture of is when I drug myself and the kids out of the house after 3 days of being cooped up with coughs and crud. I decided after this picture I’m not going to include my hair very often in my pictures. (Two things you will probably never read about on my blog is photography tips and hair advice.)

This was last Wednesday. This was the first time I’ve mixed aqua and navy blue together. I like the combo.

Well that’s it for this past week! I’ve already got my Superbowl Sunday outfit in mind since our Seahawks are in it…and no, it does not include a jersey. We are by no means football watchers (or any sport for that matter), but I sure can show some Washington State pride 🙂
Until next Wednesday!
Press on!
